Why Wonderstems
Hi! I’m Kayla, founder of Wonderstems.
In 2021, my life took a turn when my son was diagnosed with Autism. Faced with the need for extensive therapy & support, I made the difficult decision to resign from my career, prioritizing his well-being. During the early stages of the diagnosis, I started growing flowers & helping my friend who is a Denver florist with weddings. Working with flowers brought me such happiness during a challenging time.
As I became more aware of the employment gap for disabled individuals, I felt compelled to try to make an impact. This motivation led to the creation of WonderStems, where I could blend my passion for flowers with my commitment to disability advocacy.
